Hello there! Today I am talking about two things I love: traveling and skincare. In one of my latest posts called “Travellin with a carry-on”, I talked about the reasons why I prefer not to check in my luggage, what tips and tricks I use to make sure I take everything I need and don’t add extra weight. And, since I am starting a new series called “Monthly Favorites” where I share 5 things I love every month, my upcoming trip inspired me to share 5 best travel-size beauty minis for carry-on.
- “Youth To The People” Superfood Youth Duo Mini
I have been talking about this Duo Mini a lot on the blog last year (read it here). If you like brands that make difference in the world and you care about natural ingredients, I would highly recommend you to take their all natural Superfood Face Wash on your next trip. The products work to make sure your skin is clean even during the longest adventure as well as happy and healthy thanks to the rich moisturizer. - Franklin & Whitman travel kit
To be honest, I discovered this brand last year around Christmas. I read about their all natural ingredients, their mission, founders, and I saw that 5% Of All Sales Donated To Dog Rescues. All I can say that it was love at first sight. In fact, it’s one of my favorite brands: everything I use makes my skin very happy. The travel kit I have includes Walnut Hill Face Serum, Laurel Hill Toner, Chestnut Hill Cleansing Serum, Face Mask, and Travel-sized Mask Brush. Everything is packed in Cotton Canvas Travel Bag that is very convenient. Worth every penny. - Amore Pacific Travel Kit
Calling all my Sephora addicts with dry skin. I learned about this brand after I got 4 steps travel kit from Sephora. I always keep the minis and try them during the trips, and these products are perfect for traveling to the places with dry climate (and for everyone with dry skin). - Drunk Elephant: cleanser and moisturizer
I am sure you have already heard about this amazing brand. What I didn’t know is that it was founded in Houston, TX by a stay-at-home mom who wanted to create products that would work fast and be effective. Let me tell you – she did an amazing job. - Supergoop sunscreen SPF 50 and Supergoop setting powder SPF45
If you know me, you know that I won’t leave my house without a good SPF cream. I won’t use anything ineffective because white girl doesn’t want to look burgundy red during her dream vacay. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
XX,
Gena

Great list! I always get minis for travel and have gotten some pretty crappy ones in the past. Will consider this when traveling in the future!

DO you think that sunscreen would be good for sensitive, acne prone skin?

Definitely! My husband uses it and he has the most sensetive problematic skin. This is the only sunscreen that his skin likes

Thank you sharing your monthly favorites. It gives us good insights on whatg to try. I have also tried the Drunk Elephant: cleanser and moisturizer and I super love it. Though I had no idea it was founded by a SAHM. More reasons for me to support her product.

Thanks for the tips! I’ve heard about Drunk Elephant but I haven’t tried it. I wonder if it’s available in Spain… When I travel, I transfer my products to smaller containers if possible but it’s nice to know about other options

Everybody out there raving about Drunk Elephant and I am so tempted to try it on also! I will add the 6th element – lip care, can`t travel anywhere without a lip balm.
